We have three things to start:

1. Spent at least 10 minutes each day on a craft that is not writing or knitting.
2. Spend at least 10 minutes each day on writing, editing, and/or story prep.
3. Spend at least 10 minutes each day on cleaning and organizing so that we have a better environment for crafting and for doing the activities in the book Trance-portation by Diana Paxson. (We figure the latter qualifies as somewhat creative.)

These will all eventually get adjusted as our situation changes.

I had originally meant to use this as a way to prod myself, and to be prodded, to knit. I think, however, that I might be better served to use this community to hold me accountable for something a little more important. Not that knitting isn't important, but it's not how I one day wish to make my living, writing might be just that. That said, I'll probably put up a goal for my knitting in the future, too. ^^;;

For now I want only to be held accountable to my writing goals.

It was my intention to pick my novel back up in January and finish up the first "write through" at the same pace the first 50,000 words were achieved. So far this month I have written NOTHING.

It is my goal to get back into the habit of roughly 1000 words a day. They don't have to be good words. I just have to create a manuscript. From there I can go back and rewrite the whole thing ad nauseum, creating something worth reading. But the whole story has to be laid down first before that can begin.

So. That's my goal. 1000 words a day. Hold me to it. Because so far I've done bupkis!
