House Hesson update #1

We found that spending 10 minutes on writing didn't get us much of an end product. We spend a lot more time on writing sessions than we think, when we really get going! On the other hand, 10 minutes of detail painting on our current project seems to last forever. >.>

We'll keep track of updates throughout the week and send reminders to anyone who's left on Sundays.

Week One - Something like a fail, kinda.

So I only wrote once this week. It was a good experience and I got a little further with the story. But one day is not every day. So there is definitely room to improve. :/

Week One Goals

We wrote 2,465 words this week, which is above target, but none of it was the sort of stuff we'd submit to an editor. Next week we're going to try just pushing from point A to point B on our outline. It doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't even have to be inspired. All it has to be is a rough draft. 961 words of it next week, to be exact. We hope for more, but we'll settle for that.
